I live and work in the heart of the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York, where I write about everything from renewable energy to landscape architecture.

My passion is writing about education, whether it's profiling a robotocist for the Cornell Alumni Magazine or blogging about the newly created MOOC (massive open online course) at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston for Edcetera, a higher education technology website.

I've written for websites and magazines across the country, including University Business, College Planning & Management, U.S. News & World Report, Cornell Enterprise, and Rutgers University Today. I've also written for businesses and nonprofits, and edited books, technical reports and websites.

If you need an accomplished freelance writer for your next project, please feel free to contact me.  While I live in Ithaca, New York, I often travel to meet my clients' needs.
